Overview

Scheduling links let external parties book meetings with you by showing your available time slots. Create one-off links for specific meetings or recurring links for ongoing availability.

Types of Scheduling Links

One-Off Links

Share specific time slots for a single meeting:

  • Select exact times you're available
  • Link expires after booking
  • Perfect for "let's find a time" scenarios

Recurring Links

Ongoing availability based on your work hours:

  • Always reflects current availability
  • Reusable link for multiple bookings
  • Ideal for office hours, sales calls, interviews

Creating a Scheduling Link

One-Off Link

  1. Open the Quick Menu (⌘+K)
  2. Select Create Scheduling Link
  3. Choose One-off
  4. Select specific available times
  5. Configure meeting details
  6. Copy and share the link

Recurring Link

  1. Go to Settings → Scheduling Links
  2. Click Create Link
  3. Choose Recurring
  4. Configure availability settings
  5. Save and copy your link

Configuration Options

Duration

Set how long meetings can be:

Buffer Time

Add padding between meetings:

  • Before — Time before meetings
  • After — Time after meetings
  • Prevents back-to-back scheduling

Example: 15-minute buffer ensures you're never double-booked.

Title & Description

Customize how your link appears:

  • Title — "Coffee Chat with Sarah"
  • Description — Additional context for bookers
  • Questions — Collect info before booking

Location

Set where the meeting happens:

Availability Settings

Work Hours Integration

Recurring links respect your work hours:

  1. Set work hours in Settings → Work Hours
  2. Links only show times within work hours
  3. Blocked calendar time is excluded

Calendar Checking

Links check your connected calendars:

  • Existing events block those times
  • All-day events can optionally block
  • Choose which calendars to check

Minimum Notice

Require advance booking:

  • "At least 24 hours notice"
  • Prevents last-minute bookings
  • Configurable per link

Booking Window

Limit how far ahead bookings can be made:

  • "Up to 2 weeks in advance"
  • Keeps your future schedule flexible

Sharing Your Link

Copy Link

  1. Open your scheduling link settings
  2. Click Copy Link
  3. Share via email, chat, or anywhere

Embed Options

For websites and email signatures:

  • Direct link to booking page
  • Calendar widget embed (coming soon)

Managing Bookings

Notifications

When someone books:

  • Email confirmation sent to both parties
  • Event added to your calendar
  • Notification in Amie

Booking Count

Track how many times a link is used:

  • View stats in Settings
  • See booking history
  • Popular time slot insights

Canceling Bookings

If you need to cancel:

  1. Find the event in your calendar
  2. Delete or decline
  3. Booker receives cancellation notice

Multiple Scheduling Links

Create different links for different purposes:

Tips for Effective Links

Descriptive Titles

Help bookers understand the purpose:

  • ✓ "Product Demo - 30 min"
  • ✓ "Career Chat with Alex"
  • ✗ "Meeting"

Reasonable Buffers

Prevent meeting fatigue:

  • Add 15 min buffer for breaks
  • Longer buffers for intensive meetings
  • Consider travel time if in-person

Keep Work Hours Updated

Accurate work hours = better availability:

  • Update when schedule changes
  • Block focus time in calendar
  • Review periodically

Troubleshooting

No Available Times Showing

  • Check your work hours are set
  • Verify calendar is syncing
  • Ensure booking window isn't too narrow

Wrong Time Zone

  • Bookers see times in their timezone
  • Verify your timezone in Settings
  • Link converts automatically

Double Bookings

  • Ensure all calendars are connected
  • Check calendar sync is working
  • Add buffer time for safety

  • I know someone who’d love Amie and would like to refer them. How do I start?

To start the referral process, please sign up for our referral program here. Once you’ve signed up, you can share your unique referral link via email, social networks, and direct email invite. Please note, in order to take part in our referral program, terms and conditions apply. You may view the terms of service of our referral program here.

  • What is a successful referral?

In order for a referral to count, the person you’ve referred must be brand new to Amie when they sign up.

  • How do I know how many of my referrals have signed up?

Once you’ve signed up for our referral program, you will be able to see how many referrals have signed up by logging into our referral program homepage here.

  • If one of my referral signs up, when and how do I get my reward?

We manually approve all rewards. Once your reward is approved, you will receive an email from us notifying you with more details.

  • My referral forgot to use my unique referral link to sign up. Is there a way I can still receive credit?

Amie Referral Program Terms of Service

  • Self-referrals are not allowed. Cheating will get you permanently banned from our referral program.

  • We reserve the right to disqualify rewards earned through fraudulent, illegal, or abusive methods.

  • We will only count referrals on links that are automatically tracked and reported by our system. We will not credit a referral if someone says they signed up or someone says they entered a referral code and it was not tracked by our system.

  • We reserve the right to change the terms of service for our referral program at any time.

  • You may not use our referral program for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. You must not violate any laws in your jurisdiction.
