Integration Types
Amie offers two types of Slack integration:

Personal Integration
Share meeting notes to your own Slack DMs. Any user can set this up.
Workspace Integration
Share to team channels. Requires a Slack workspace admin to configure.
Setup
Personal Integration
- Go to Settings → Integrations → Meeting Notes
- Find Slack and click Connect
- Choose Personal
- Authorize Amie in the Slack OAuth flow
- Notes will be shared to your DMs
Workspace Integration
- Have a Slack admin go to Settings → Integrations → Meeting Notes
- Find Slack and click Connect
- Choose Workspace
- Authorize Amie for the workspace
- Configure which channels receive notes
What Gets Shared
When you share a meeting to Slack, it includes:
- Meeting title and date
- AI summary — Key discussion points
- Action items — With assigned owners
- Recording link — If the meeting was recorded
- Attendees — Who was in the meeting
Sharing to Channels vs DMs
The integration supports both:
- Channels (prefix: C) — Team channels for group visibility
- Direct Messages (prefix: U) — Private shares to individuals

Personal Integration
All shares go to your Slack DMs automatically.
Workspace Integration
Admins can configure:
- Default channels for meeting notes
- Which types of meetings trigger shares
- Notification formatting preferences
Sharing a Meeting
After a meeting with notes:
- Open the meeting in Amie
- Click Share
- Select Slack from the share options
- Choose channel or DM
- Click Send
Troubleshooting
Can't Connect Slack
- Personal: Ensure you're logged into the correct Slack workspace
- Workspace: Verify you have admin permissions
Notes Not Appearing
- Check that the integration is still connected in Settings
- Verify you have access to the target channel
- Look in Slack's Apps section for Amie messages
Reconnecting
If the integration stops working:
- Go to Settings → Integrations
- Click Disconnect next to Slack
- Reconnect using the setup steps above
Privacy
- Meeting notes are sent via Slack's API
- Only the content you explicitly share is sent
- You control what gets shared and where

- I know someone who’d love Amie and would like to refer them. How do I start?
To start the referral process, please sign up for our referral program here. Once you’ve signed up, you can share your unique referral link via email, social networks, and direct email invite. Please note, in order to take part in our referral program, terms and conditions apply. You may view the terms of service of our referral program here.
- What is a successful referral?
In order for a referral to count, the person you’ve referred must be brand new to Amie when they sign up.
- How do I know how many of my referrals have signed up?
Once you’ve signed up for our referral program, you will be able to see how many referrals have signed up by logging into our referral program homepage here.
- If one of my referral signs up, when and how do I get my reward?
We manually approve all rewards. Once your reward is approved, you will receive an email from us notifying you with more details.
- My referral forgot to use my unique referral link to sign up. Is there a way I can still receive credit?

Amie Referral Program Terms of Service
Self-referrals are not allowed. Cheating will get you permanently banned from our referral program.
We reserve the right to disqualify rewards earned through fraudulent, illegal, or abusive methods.
We will only count referrals on links that are automatically tracked and reported by our system. We will not credit a referral if someone says they signed up or someone says they entered a referral code and it was not tracked by our system.
We reserve the right to change the terms of service for our referral program at any time.
You may not use our referral program for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. You must not violate any laws in your jurisdiction.
